2 Kolbars killed and injured by direct fire from the Iranian Armed Forces on the borders of Sarvabad

Hengaw: A young Kolbar was killed and another one was injured by direct fire from the Iranian Armed Forces while crossing the borders of Sarvabad district of Kurdistan Province.

According to a report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, on

Wednesday, June 30, 2021, the Iranian Border Security forces opened fire on a group of Kolbars in the “Tahteh “ heights in Sarvabad and as a result, a Kolbars with the identity of "Keyvan Haghmoradi" from Kaniydinar town of Marivan was killed and another one with the identity of "Sirvan Takhani" was injured.

Sirvan Takhani was taken to Marivan Medical Center for treatment and his physical condition was reported to be crucial.

According to statistics recorded by the Statistics and Data Documentation Center of Hengaw Human Rights Organization, at least 6 Kolbars have been killed on the borders of Iranian Kurdistan in less than 10 days, five of whom were killed by direct fire from the Iranian Armed Forces.
