At least 22 Kurdish Kolbars and tradesmen were killed and wounded on the borders of Kurdistan in May. These statistics have decreased by 22 cases (104.5%) compared to the previous month. Last month, 55 Kolbars and tradesmen had been killed and injured.
According to statistics recorded by the Statistics and Documentation Center of Hengaw Human Rights Organization, in May 2022, at least 22 Kolbars and tradesmen were killed and wounded on the borders of Kurdistan. 82% of the cases have been killed by direct fire from the Iranian armed forces.
According to the report, 1 Kolbar has lost his life, and 21 Kolbars and tradesmen have been injured.
Most of the registered victims are in Kermanshah province with 11 cases. One of the Kolbars injured at the Baneh border was a 17-year-old male teenager.

Direct fire: 18 cases (1 killed and 17 wounded) equal to 82% of the total cases
Natural hazards: 2 cases (2 injured) equal to 9% of the total cases
Strike with baton and rifle butt: 2 cases (2 wounded) equal 9% of the total cases
