In the late evening of Saturday, July 23, 2022, Baneh border forces shot at a number of Kolbars at the Malta border and seriously injured two Kolbar brothers, Ali Yunsei and Saadollah Yunesi, 25, from the village of Gela Sura.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Human Rights Organization, the two Kolbars were taken to Salahaddin Ayubi Hospital in Baneh for treatment, and Saadollah Younesi, who was shot in the back, died of the severity of his injuries.
Also, Ali Yunesi was injured in the leg and is under medical care.
The two Kolbars, who are brothers, are both married.
