On the evening of Monday, August 15, 2022, at least 12 Kolbars from Baneh, Bukan, and Saqqez cities were injured as a result of border forces shooting at the border of Hangazhal of Baneh city.
According to an informed source, 7 Kolbars from Baneh, 3 Kolbars from Saqqaz, and 2 Kolbars from Bukan were injured as a result of the fire, and the identities of five of them have been confirmed for Hengaw as Saman Mohammadzadeh, 29, from Baneh, Fazel Ahmadi, 45, from Saqqez, Ali Abkar, from Bukan, Yousef Qoytasi from Bukan, and Arsalan Rahmani from Saqez.
A well-informed source told Hengaw, "Border forces shot at those Kolbars from a distance of 6 meters with shotguns."
This source further stated that only 4 of the Kolbars went to the hospital and the rest did not go to the hospital for fear of being arrested.
