Following the systematic killing of Kurdish Kolars by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, a young Kolbar from Sardasht identified as Saleh Rashidzadeh, 23, was killed on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, by direct fire from border forces at the Baneh border.
According to the report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, Saleh Rashidzadeh is from the village of Qala Reshi in Sardasht, and he was targeted at 15:30 by direct fire at the Marvi border of Baneh without any prior warning.
It should be mentioned that one brother of Saleh Rashidzadeh identified as Mohammad Rashidzadeh was killed by direct fire from the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran two years ago while Kolbaring on "Bazhar" border of Sardasht.
Based on the statistics recorded in the Statistics and Documents Center of Hengaw Human Rights Organization, in the past 40 days, at least 7 Kolbars have been killed by direct fire from border forces at the Baneh border.
