In Sanandaj, government forces detained four brothers, Majid Karami, Milad Karami, Mehrshad Karami, and Soran Karami, as well as their uncle, Rahmat Jahangiri.
According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, these four brothers were apprehended by Islamic Republic of Iran intelligence officers in Sanandaj over the last week. Rahmat Jahangiri, the uncle of these four brothers, was also arrested at the same time.
Despite the efforts of their families and relatives, no information concerning the fate of these five citizens has been made public by authorities since their detention
