Ameneh Darvizheh, a Kurdish citizen from Piranshahr who was arrested during the current protests, is still in the detention center of the Iranian government institutions after nearly three weeks.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, in November 2022, Ameneh Darvizheh, 40 years old and a resident of Piranshahr, was arrested by the Iranian government forces while she was walking on the sidewalk of one of the streets of this city looking for her child among the protesters.

According to an informed source, while searching for her child, this citizen sat on the ground due to severe pain and fatigue in her leg and was immediately arrested by the Iranian government forces.

Currently, Ameneh Darvizheh, who is the mother of two children, has been in custody at the Iranian Intelligence Detention Center in Urmia for nearly 21 days.

The fate of this citizen is unclear, and the follow-up of her case by her family has been unfruitful.
