Due to an underlying illness, the health of Marjan Davoudi, a civil activist from Qasr-e Shirin who was detained in Tehran yesterday, is in grave danger.

According to information obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Iranian government forces attacked the home of Kurdish civil rights activist Marjan Davoudi, a resident of Tehran, on Sunday, December 11, 2022, and abducted her.

After the arrest, this citizen was taken to Evin prison for interrogation by Iranian government forces, and his personal belongings were confiscated.

Given that she just underwent two angiography procedures and has heart disease, this civil rights activist from Qasr-e Shirin may face health risks in the detention center.

The arrest of this civil activist was reportedly followed by assault and harassment at home, according to the report Hengaw received.
