Five Kurdish citizens from Diwandarreh named Zahid Soleimani, Kaveh Karimian, Arslan Diwargar, Sirvan Moradian, and Meysam Mullaweyse were arrested by the Iranian government forces, and their fate is unknown.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday, January 10th, 2023, Zahid Soleimani, a resident of Diwandarreh and the Secretary of Education, was arrested by the Iranian government forces near the non-profit school of "Wirya" in Andisheh quarter, and on the same day, Kaveh Karimian was taken to a known place after being arrested on "Azadegan" street in Diwandarreh.
Also, Arslan Diwargar, 46 years old and a native of Diwandarreh, was arrested on Sunday, January 8, 2023, after being summoned to the Intelligence Department of this city and then transferred to the Sanandaj Intelligence Detention Center.
On Saturday, January 7, 2023, Sirvan Moradian from the village of Bast was kidnapped by Iranian government forces on the way from the village to the city of Diwandarreh.
Earlier, on the evening of Friday, December 23, 2022, Meysam Mullaweyse, a resident of Zaki Bey village in Diwandarreh, was arrested and taken to an unknown place.
So far, no detailed information about the health status and conditions of these citizens has been made available.
