The body of Aso Karimi, a Kolbar from Paveh, was discovered in a garden near Shushmi village. Aso Karimi had sustained severe injuries and bled to death last night, alongside seven Kolbars, as a result of direct fire from Iranian border regiment forces.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, On the afternoon of Monday, August 7, 2023, following an extensive search effort, the lifeless body of Aso Karimi, a 39-year-old Kolbar hailing from the village of "Kumareh" and a resident of Paveh, was discovered atop the elevated terrain of "Shushmi" village, situated within the city of Nowsud.
On the evening of Sunday, August 6, 2023, Aso Karimi sustained serious injuries due to gunfire from the Nowsud border regiment forces. While trying to escape the border regimental forces, he reached a garden near the village of Shushmi, where he lost his life due to severe bleeding.
During the shooting, a minimum of seven individuals sustained injuries. Hengaw has successfully obtained the identities of six among them: Ehsan Rasouli from Paveh, Milad Bazani, Nima Azami, Salam Veisi,Omid Vaisi, Hooshyar Bazani from Javanrud, as well as an individual bearing the name Farshad from Salas-e Babajani.
