Safar Rostami, a kolbar from Sarpol-e Zahab, Kermanshah province, sustained injuries when Iranian government armed forces fired upon him at the Baneh border.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights on Saturday, October 7, 2023, Iranian border regiment forces opened fire on Safar Rostami from Sarpol-e Zahab while he was working as a kolbar along the Baneh border.
Safar Rostami was shot in the back and waist during the incident, said an informed source.
