Three kolbars were severely wounded by the direct gunfire in the hands of armed forces of the Islamic Republic in the border of Nowsud. One of these kolbars, named Erfan Moradi, has fallen into a coma and is hospitalized.

According to reports received by the Hengaw organization for Human Rights, on the evening of Monday, October 30, 2023, Erfan Moradi, a young kolbar from Javanroud, was shot directly by the border guards in Nowsud, resulting in coma due to severe injuries.

Mr. Moradi, the father of three children, sustained severe head injuries and was transferred to Taleghani Hospital in Kermanshah after being taken to medical centers in Paweh due to the severity of his injuries. His condition has been declared critical and currently in intensive care unit(ICU).

Earlier, on Saturday, October 28th, at least two other kolbars, Masoud Kakayi from the village of "Orazeh" in the suburbs of Salas e Babajani and Salah Ahmadi from the village of "Hashmar" in the same county were wounded by the direct gunfire of the border forces in Nowsud.

It is worth noting that Masoud Kakayi suffered severe injuries in his back and waist area due to the direct shooting by the government's armed forces using shotgun pellets.

Hengaw had previously reported the injury of at least 10 kolbars on Saturday, and the identities of three of them have been confirmed so far.
