Jalal Heydarian, a 28-year-old resident of Divandarreh, met a tragic end when he was fatally shot by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the Baneh border. He is the second Kolbar to be killed in Baneh within this 24-hour timeframe.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the evening of Wednesday, November 15, 2023, Jalal Heydarian, hailing from the village of Qachian in the Karaftu district of Divandarreh, was shot by the forces of the border regiment stationed at the "Hengazhall" border of Baneh.
An informed source reveals that Jalal Heydarian fell victim to direct gunfire from government armed forces in the chest area.
Furthermore, on the evening of Tuesday, November 14, 2023, another young Kolbar, identified as Yadgar Rahimi from Baneh, lost his life due to direct fire from the border regiment force at the Hengazhall border of Baneh.
According to the data registered in the Statistics and Documentation Center of the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, covering the period from the beginning of the autumn season until now (55 days), five Kolbars have been killed by direct fire from the border regiment forces, including the recent cases. Additionally, at least 35 Kolbars have suffered injuries.
