Nine Kolbars sustained injuries due to direct gunfire from border regiment troops at Baneh Border

Esmaiel Rahimi, As'ad Hasanpour, Salam and Jawhar (unidentified family names) from Saqqez, Siamand, Morad and Shāhin (unidentified family names) from Bokan, Mohammad (unidentified family name) from Sanandaj, and lastly, Mahdi Jamali, a 28-year-old from Baneh, are all injured by direct gunfire from border regiment troops on the Baneh border.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the late night of November 21, 2023, at least nine kolbars from various cities (Saqqez, Baneh, Bokan, and Sanandaj) sustained critical injuries in the head, hand, foot, and abdomen at the Hangazhall border of Baneh.

Based on information from reliable resources, As'ad Hasanpour, a 25-year-old from Jafarkhan village in Saqqez city, has been reported to be in a critical condition because of his abdominal injuries. As per the information, he has been transported to the ICU of Salah Aldin Hospital in Baneh due to the severity of his injuries.

The other 8 kolbars who sustained injuries to their heads, hands, and feet are reported to be in a generally suitable health condition.
