Yawar Weysi, a young kolbar from Salas-e Babajani, Kermanshah province, lost his life due to direct gunfire from border regiment troops while transporting goods at the Nowsud border.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights on Sunday night, November 26, 2023, the 28-year-old Yawar Weysi from Gholghola village in Salas-e Babajani was killed by the direct gunfire of the border regiment troops at the Nowsud border.
Based on information from reliable sources, the border regiment troops targeted this young kolbar on his back from close range with a Kalashinkov (AK-47). He was transported to the Nowsud dispensary and lost his life because of the severity of his injuries.
Yawar Weysi was married and a father of two children.
Yesterday, a teenage kolbar of 17 years old, identified as Farough Alizadeh from Rabat city, was also killed at the Hangazhall border by direct gunfire from I.R.I. armed forces.
