Iranian Armed Forces shot and Injure Five “Kolbars, Including a Minor, in Baneh

Arman Qasemi, a 17-year-old minor, Arvin Rashidi, 19 years old, and Karo Tajrobeh Kar, Mohammad Vaisi, and Zaher (last name unknown), all Kolbars from Saqqez and Bookan, sustained severe injuries from direct gunfire by border guards at the "Hangazhal" border crossing in Baneh.

According to reports received by the Hengaw organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday evening the 29th of November 2023, Arman Qasemi, a 17-year-old minor, and another Kolbar from Saqqez named Karo Tajrobeh Kar, were severely wounded by the direct gunfire of armed forces at the Baneh border.

Earlier, on Tuesday the 27th of November, Arvin Rashidi, a 19-year-old from Saqqez, was shot and wounded by the border guards at the Hangazhal border crossing in Baneh.

Furthermore, on the evening of Saturday, November 25th, two other Jolbars, Mohammad Vaisi from Saqqez and Zaher (last name unknown) from Bookan, were injured by direct gunfire of armed forces at the Hangazhal border in Baneh.

These five Kolbars have been transferred to medical centers due to the severity of their injuries. Zaher, the Kolbar from Bookan, underwent surgery, and Arvin Rashidi's condition is reported as critical at Shafa Hospital in Saqqez.
