Sadegh Mirzaei, a 40-year-old Kolbar from Javanroud and a father of two, lost his life as a result of direct gunfire from the Border Regiment of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the Nowsud border.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Saturday night, January 20, 2024, Sadegh Mirzaei fell victim to the lethal gunfire of border regiment forces at the Nowsud border.
Informed sources indicate that the deceased Kolbar's body, who was also a married father of two, has been transported to Nowsud city hospital.
According to records from the Statistics and Documents Center of the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the year 2023 witnessed the demise of at least 41 Kurdish Kolbars in the Kurdistan border regions.
