50 Kolbars killed and injured in January 2024

Based on the statistics registered in the Statistics and Documents Center of Hengaw, in January 2024, at least 50 Kolbar were killed or injured on the borders of Kurdistan, 92% of whom were killed or injured by direct fire from the Iranian armed forces.
According to this report, 6 Kolbars were killed and 44 were injured. Also, during this period, at least 6 child-Kolbars were injured by direct fire from the Iranian Border Guards. Of the 6 injured child-Kolbers, 2 were from Javanrud, 2 from Saqqez, 2 Paveh and Shahu. 4 of them were injured at the border areas of Nowsud and two others on the borders of Baneh.

The highest number of victims with 29 cases was recorded in Kermanshah.

Throwing stones by military forces: 2 cases (2 injured) equivalent to 4% of total cases.

Falling from the heights: 1 case (1 injured) equivalent to 2% of all cases.

Separation of victims by province:

Kermanshah province: 29 cases (3 dead and 26 injured).
Kurdistan province: 21 cases (3 killed and 18 injured).
