Two brothers executed in Urumiyeh prison

Hengaw: Two Kurdish brothers from from Urumiyeh who had been sentenced to death in charge of murder, were executed.

Hengaw: Two Kurdish brothers from from Urumiyeh who had been sentenced to death in charge of murder, were executed.

According to the report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday morning 15th January 2020, two brothers in the names of Daryoush Darwishi, 35 years old and Danesh Darwishi, 27 years old, executed in Urumiyeh prison. They had been arrested by security forces in charge of murder in 2014 and had been sentenced to death. They have been in detention since 5 years ago in Urumiyeh prison.

Based on a source, they are from Dladr village of Urumiyeh region who had murdered two brothers from Pirgol village during a fighting in the names of Akef and Kamal Yousefi in 2014.
