 Hengaw : In the past few days, 2 other citizens have been detained  in the cities of Bukan and Sanandaj by Iranian  security forces . Taking  into account these two cases, the number of recent detentions in Iranian Kurdistan  reaches up to  74.

 According to a report received by Hengaw  Human Rights Organization, a 25-year-old citizen from Bukan, identified as "Sardar Mohammadpour", son of Khabat and resident of Alikand village in Bukan district of West Azerbaijan (Urmia) province was detained  by Iranian security services  and transferred to an unknown location.
 On the other hand, on Saturday, January 23, 2021, another citizen from Sanandaj, identified as "Sirvan Amini", was detained by Iranian security forces  and transferred to an unknown location.  Thus, the number of recent detainees in Sanandaj has reached to 4 .

 According to the statistics registered in Statistics and Documentation Data Center of  Hengaw Human Rights Organization, at least 74 Kurdish citizens have been detained by Iranian security agencies in the cities of Tehran, Karaj, Kermanshah, Sarvabad, Kalatarzan, Marivan, Sanandaj, Baneh, Saqqez,  Buchan, Naghadeh , Piranshahr and Mahabad during past 16 days , 5 of whom have been released and 69 are still in custody.
