Hengaw: During the last month, branches of the Revolutionary and Criminal Courts of the Judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran have sentenced at least 16 Kurdish political and civil activists to prison.
According to the statistics registered in the Statistics and Documentation Center of Hengaw Human Rights Organization, in May 2022, at least 16 Kurdish political and civil activists were tried by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran and sentenced to a total of 27 years and 3 months and 1 day imprisonment and 7 years of suspended imprisonment.
According to the report, three female activists and an environmental activist are among those sentenced by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Most of the verdicts, which include 10 cases, were issued by Branch one of the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court headed by Judge Hossein Saeidi.

4- Jamal Yousefi from Bukan, sentenced to 5 years and 7 months and 15 days in prison
5- Afshin Hossein Panaahi from Dehgolan, sentenced to 1 year suspended imprisonment
6- Ali Allah Veysi from Sanandaj, sentenced to 2 years imprisonment
7- Fardin Rahimi from Sanandaj, sentenced to 2 years imprisonment
8- Ghaneh Khateri from Sanandaj, sentenced to 2 years imprisonment
9- Marzieh Morad Veysi from Sanandaj, sentenced to 2 years imprisonment
